Groundhog's Day

Have you ever wondered how we get early spring?  Well that's Groundhog's Day. Groundhog's Day is when a groundhog gets out of his burrow and if he doesn't see his shadow then we get early spring. But if he see's his shadow we get 6 more weeks of winter. Still it is not actually true that happens but it is fun to think about.

Miss Baldwin's Class: My favorite part of school

 



My favorite part of school is Bikes, Blues and Benchmark.  First we saw a consort (concert).  We  heard "All Night Long". Then we saw the 3rd grade video. Then we saw the 4th grade video. Then we saw the 5th  grade video. Last we had lunch. I love Bikes, Blues and Benchmark.

When my class went to the zoo we got to feed anumlis (animals). We got to eat luch (lunch). We  got on the bus and got to see a Hepopodames (hippopotamus). We saw Afrun (African) porcupines. We got to pet the anumlis (animals).

Mrs. Marshall's Class: The Gentry Safari Zoo

 

In Shaw elumichery (elementary) all of  the Kindergarten went on a filcherip (field trip). The fillchip (field trip) wasto the  jijer (Gentry) safari zoo. My class wich (which)  is misis (Mrs.) Marshall's class, woched (watched) the magic school bus. Then we said the pleg of elegins (Pledge of Allegiance). Then we lined up. After we lined up we got on the school bus. We had to wate (wait) for the other school bus. After the other school bus got here we wayed (waited) for the other classes to get on the school bus. Then we got thar (there). We sall (saw) a fox and a hipow (hippo). Then we ate lunch. It was yummy. Then we got on the school bus. The zoo was fun.

Mrs. Henry's Class: At the Zoo

 I am writing about the Gentry safari zoo. First we saw a caml (camel). It went to anadr (another) class's widlo (window) and triad (tried) to eat a hat. Then we ait (ate) lash (lunch) in bags. Last we fed the jras (giraffes)  ledis (lettuce). I went home.  By Rachael
